Age 3 – 5 Rugger Ratz
Training Session: Every Sunday starting at 9:15

Rugger Ratz is all about having fun with a ball in your hands, our coaches aim for the session is to get the kids used to having a ball in their hand, whilst having lots of fun with their friends

Age 6 – 7 Tag Rugby
Training Session: Every Sunday starting at 9:15

When the player turns 6 they can join one of our Tag Rugby teams, to tackle a player they pull of a tag attached to a belt around their waste. It’s a great introduction to teams sports and rugby’s core values. Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment and Sportsmanship.

Age 8 Introduction to Contact
Training Session: Every Sunday starting at 9:15

If you child is in Year 4 at school they can join the U9’s team. The tag belt has now been replaced with a tackle. The rules are not that different to the tag rules, so it’s a real easy transition.

Age 9 – 12
Training Session: Every Sunday starting at 10:45

Each year after U9’s a different elements come into the game and it all starts to look a lot more like Rugby. With the introduction of the Ruck and Maul, then slowly bringing in the Scrum. The players really start to appreciate that they are part of a team.

Age 15, Year 11 – Eccleshall\Longton Barbarians
Our U16 team is one of our greatest success stories, when two local clubs were starting to struggle for players, rather than give up they joined forces to form the Barbarians. They share their time between Eccleshall and Longton rugby clubs and are a great example of what makes rugby great.

If you are interested in more information about the Barbarian please contact Rich Milward on 07975 666965
